Meet August's best horse racing tipsters

August provided plenty of thrilling racing action to enjoy, and our monthly Best Tipster leaderboard showcases those services that have continued to bash the bookies on behalf of their Tipstrr followers.

Just click on the links for more information about each tipster, and for details of any introductory discounts that are currently available.

10th Soul Spirit Tips

  • 132 tips, 24.2% ROI, £638 profit

Bringing up the rear, Soul Spirit Tips is approaching a full year of service on the Tipstrr platform, and looks intent on celebrating his anniversary in style after producing some solid returns in August.

A 7% win rate might not set the heart racing at first glance, but with 25% of his each-way tips also making the frame, it’s easy to see where SST’s strengths lie and where August’s profit came from.

9th The Profit Rocket

  • 393 tips, 26.6% ROI, £2,087 profit

The same argument could be made for the increasingly popular service of The Profit Rocket, whose high-volume high-tariff strategy requires a disciplined betting routine that is not for the faint-hearted.

That said, 12 straight profitable months that have put upwards of £50K in the kitty suggest that bankroll management has not been an issue for anyone following this service since it launched in August 2023.

8th PicksnTips Selections

  • 103 tips, 28.5% ROI, £587 profit

A regular manageable tip volume of around 100 tips per month make PicksnTips Selections an easy service to follow, especially when backed up by the kind of results he produced in his most profitable month of the year so far.

Providing the same consistent service since the back end of 2019, most days sees this free tipster suggest a Nap, a Next-best and a 3rd-best tip that give a measure of the confidence he has in his each-way selections.

7th Rich Bets

  • 113 tips, 30.5% ROI, £688 profit

Just a quick glance at the climbing profit line on the stats page of Rich Bets says it all for the relentless consistency of this tipster’s proven each-way strategy.

August’s nine winners were probably enough to return a profit on their own, but an additional 29 each-way places meant that anyone following this service was never more than a couple of races away from their next profitable return.

6th Off The Bridle Racing

  • 51 tips, 31.3% ROI, £395 profit

In sixth place Off The Bridle Racing makes a welcome return to our monthly fold after a second straight monthly return in excess of 28% - enough to put over £1100 in the betting bank since the beginning of July.

As his profile page explains, his real expertise lies in National Hunt racing, which is soon to take over from the Flat, so he could be hitting form at just the right time for his preferred jumps season.

5th TommyTheTipper

  • 62 tips, 31.9% ROI, £395 profit

We kick off our top five with TommyTheTipper, who has hardly looked back since rebooting his service in March, with August’s profit spike coinciding with a notable step-up in tip volume.

His profile page offers a detailed summary of his service’s strategy and expectations, and his expertise is further demonstrated by his regular publication of informative race previews that provide a useful insight into his reasoning.

4th The Banker

  • 74 tips, 32.2% ROI, £477 profit

Having topped this leaderboard in May (95% ROI) and July (177%) either side of finishing 7th in June (28%), The Banker is back in the frame again, all thanks to an expert eye for value that continues to defy the double-digit odds he recommends for his win-only tips.

The last four months have seen The Banker clear over £3.5K in winnings, rekindling the level of consistency that has made him a jewel in Tipstrr’s crown since first launching on Tipstrr more than five years ago in June 2019.

3rd Shrewd Tips

  • 114 tips, 41.5% ROI, £947 profit

Occupying our first podium position, Shrewd Tips has been living up to his name since first gracing the Tipstrr site in October 2019, with August’s year-best 41% yield crowning six straight months of growth.

Another tipster to operate without the benefit of an each-way safety net, average advised odds of around 8/1 have not stopped him producing an all-the-more-impressive 17% win rate, taking his winning just shy of the £4K mark since the beginning of March.

2nd 365 Tips

  • 69 Tips, 58.6% ROI, £809 profit

Just two months after topping this shortlist in June (65% ROI) 365 Tips has to settle for the bridesmaid role in August, which is a fitting way for this consistent performer to celebrate five full years of service on the Tipstrr platform.

Recommending race-winner tips at double-digit prices requires a knowledge of the sport coupled with an expert eye for value, all of which made August’s 15% win rate and 58% ROI all the more remarkable.

1st SniperPiper67

  • 37 tips, 78.1% ROI, £578 profit

And so we come to August’s Best Horse Racing Tipster in the shape of SniperPiper67, whose varied service has been trending nicely in the right direction since the beginning of the year, and never more steeply than during the past two months.

Proving the old adage that quantity is no match for quality, a reduction in tip volume has yielded a more focused service that has seen a timely profit surge in July (34% ROI) and now in August (78%).

An eye for each-way value has been supplemented by a willingness to provide potentially more lucrative exotic and multiple bets, all of which have combined to produce a diverse and productive betting experience.

Congratulations again to SniperPiper67 for leading such a high-quality field past August’s monthly winning post, and we also want to acknowledge the many other services who might not have made the frame this time around, but who nevertheless remain a valued part of the Tipstrr community.

*All profits calculated to £20 level stakes
